Ways to resolve disputes

• Mediation – quicker and cheaper than recourse to Court and has the benefit of confidentiality.  Both parties will discuss the issues they have in the presence of an independent mediator with the aim of reaching an agreement. We will consider this with you and make an appropriate referral to Mediation.
• Negotiation -carried out by us on the basis of the information you give us initially.  We advise you on the likely outcome if you were to litigate and discuss possible settlements before we try to negotiate an agreement for you.
• Litigation – if an agreement cannot be reached the matter proceeds to Litigation.  We will talk to you about funding your own legal costs and those of your opponent and will commence Court Proceedings on your behalf.  We have a strong team of experts who we work with regularly and, together with us, will give you robust advice and will be there to fight your corner.
