Lasting powers of attorney
If you become either unwilling or unable to make decisions about your financial affairs, your care and welfare or your property, a Lasting Power of Attorney will enable somebody you trust to do this on your behalf.
Preparing this legal document now will give you peace of mind for the future.
A Lasting Power of Attorney can only be made by somebody who still has the mental capacity to understand the effect of the document they are signing. If in doubt a medical certificate will be obtained by us to make sure that the document will be valid.
