You and your will

There are many things to think about when writing a Will: who to appoint as executors and guardians; whether to leave money to charity and who will benefit from your Estate.

If you or your partner have had a previous relationship or have children from a previous relationship then expert advice is needed to ensure that your assets go to those you would wish to benefit on your death.

An ill-thought out Will or an invalidly executed Will can become a very costly problem to resolve by those who are left behind when you die.

If making a Will you may also wish to consider whether a Lasting Power of Attorney is desirable.
